Glass Transformation Story:
Glass manufacturers generate substantial waste; products often do not meet safety or quality control standards, and there is sometimes breakage in handling. Some of our glass comes from a manufacturer of designer dinnerware, serving dishes, and stemware. Waste occurs due to defects in the shape, color or improper fusing of the stems to the cups. The glass in Firehouse Red is factory waste of red glass goblets. We transform their "waste" into something exquisite: Firehouse Red.
